At Derian House we help children and young people, whose lives are too short, to make happy memories in an environment of fun, respect and above all, high quality care.
We provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 400 children and young people across the North West and South Cumbria.

In 2021 it will cost us £5million to run services at Derian House and yet we only receive 12% of this from statutory sources. The care and support that we provide is free to families meaning we rely heavily on the generosity of people like you.
Here are some of the ways in which your donations help:
£20 can provide a session in our interactive sensory room, helping children relax and stimulating their senses
£45 can provide a complementary therapy session, such as massage or aromatherapy, for a child or family member, helping them to relax and feel looked after
£75 could allow a family to enjoy a splash session in our hydrotherapy pool, giving them the chance to play together as a family
£150 could sponsor a nurse for a day
