About Dogs Trust
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 14,300 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK. The charity supports dogs and dog lovers with training, advice and outreach projects, making them the UK’s leading voice in dog welfare.
The charity also focuses its efforts on understanding dogs and sharing that knowledge with the wider public to prevent problem behaviours that can result in relinquishment or abandonment.
Dogs Trust is working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.”
Why Dogs Trust needs your help
With more than 1,700 stray and abandoned dogs in their care at any one time, Dogs Trust really need your help. The charity receives no government funding and is totally dependent on the generosity of people like you.
Most dogs find loving new homes within about six weeks but those who need a little extra care are always safe with Dogs Trust because they never destroy a healthy dog.
Dogs Trust is reliant on the generosity of the public to help dogs in need, so by sponsoring a dog for as little as £1 per week means you won’t just be helping your sponsor dog but all their friends too!
