New York City

Greater Niagara

Fall for the Falls

Niagara Falls is undoubtedly the star of this region. Comprised of the Canadian Falls (aka, Horseshoe Falls), the American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, and formed by the Niagara River, the combined falls have the highest flow rate of any waterfalls in North America. The first State Park in America, Niagara Falls offers visitors unmatched vantage points, a chance to get up-close-and-personal onboard the Maid of the Mist, a challenging but rewarding Cave of the Winds tour, panoramic views from the Top of the Falls Restaurant, and a stunning display of illuminations each evening until midnight.

Capital-Saratoga Region
