The Wolfpack Project offers supportive, meaningful connections for young people through one-to-one support with our Mental Health First Aid-Trained support team, as well as the chance of making new connections and meeting friends through our social groups. We run a variety of social groups and events for young people to get involved with, helping them to build bonds and create a social support network that they can rely on. Our groups range from coffee mornings to cinema trips, art workshops to walking groups, so that there is something that everyone will enjoy. Our Mission is to identify, connect, and empower isolated younger people and adults and to provide support that allows them to overcome the barriers created by isolation.
By providing a network of projects where individuals can access support, young people will establish new friendships and form a wider support network that they can trust in hard times.
As part of our mission this is year, we are hosting National Youth Mental Health & Loneliness Conference 2024 a one-day event dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of mental health and loneliness among young individuals.
This in-person conference will take place on Tue Jun 04 2024 at Squire Performing Arts Centre, Nottingham, NG1 4JB and will provide a learning platform for mental health professionals, service users, researchers and everybody interested in the field; drawing together expert speakers and organisations that share innovative solutions and initiatives that help dissect and tackle the ever-growing youth mental health and loneliness crisis across the UK. We’ll be joined by a wide-range of attendees and speakers, from organisations that include; UK Youth, YoungMinds, The Children’s Society, Mind, British Red Cross, Campaign to End Loneliness, and many, many more!
