As you know we are Charitable Travel so, although the sessions are free, we would love your kindness making a small donation of £10 per week to registered charity The Mintridge Foundation who are dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport. We will share more about this amazing charity, how to sign up and how to give below.
The team at our unique social enterprise travel company Charitable Travel champion our social purpose, helping charity fundraising and helping our customers give to their choice of charity, at no extra cost, when booking travel and holidays. Our aim is to truly help society and our community at large by supporting the work of incredible charities, always but now at a time when they have never needed us more.
Wellness of spirit through generosity, love and kindness to others is part of the journey of total wellbeing. We all know how good it feels to do good, but we also know how good it feels once the immediate recovery from exercise is done. Looking after our bodies through well planned exercise and considered diet creates a virtuous circle between the physical shape we are in and our calmness of mind and inner peace.
My name is Jenny Tomei and I am a Qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapist. I have been a Personal Trainer for over 7 years, and I love motivating and educating others about the different aspects of fitness and nutrition. I love encouraging others to find confidence, by being able to bring out the best in people, also taking the time to listen, being supportive, and offering reassurance. You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.
My areas of specialities include weight loss, disordered eating, digestive issues, including IBS, pre- and post-natal exercise and running. I love being able to empower and educate others to overcome disruptive eating habits, by helping people to improve their relationship with food, to be free of yo-yo dieting and to lead a healthy and happy life. I can help the healthiest amongst us, and those seeking to overcome challenges and improve their health and wellbeing
Our Weekday Sessions
Each session will be fun and flexible for all abilities and all levels of fitness, from beginners and up. For those who want more of a challenge Jenny will give you the techniques to make it tougher. Of course, this is a workout, but do not worry about it being beyond your reach.
The session will involve a full body workout, including all your major muscle groups to keep a good balance. All of the activities will initially use body weight only, so no equipment is necessary. This type of workout will use lots of energy, burn more calories, and will be a journey to improving your fitness.
There will be short amounts of rest between each of the exercises to keep the intensity high, but if you need more recovery time – which is fine, sit out a set and then join back in. This is interval training, which has been proven to be superior to longer lower-intensity cardio workouts for fat loss.
As we warm down and recover from our exercise, we will cover a weekly collection of ideas and tips about diet and nutrition. These will be recapped on the weekly newsletter that all attendees will be sent during Friday.
From 8am this is our programme
• 5 minutes of introduction, a recap of what we will be doing today, and a full body warm up
• 30-minute body exercise routine, no equipment is needed
• 10 minutes of warm down with nutrition, wellbeing tips, advice, and ideas
Every Friday Jenny will give hints and tips on how to easily carry on your wellness routine over the weekend. Remember though to rest and be kind to yourself too.

The Mintridge Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport. We provide a support network for young people by harnessing the power of positive sporting role models. The Mintridge Foundation assists young people of all ages, abilities, and physical capabilities to develop confidence and resilience, and creates awareness of the importance of mental and physical wellbeing through sport.
Our team of Ambassadors – Olympians, Paralympians, and other professional sports stars from over 20 sports, both team and individual – work with young people in schools, clubs, and academies across the UK. Starting with visits including assemblies, coaching clinics and classroom sessions tailored to each organisation’s requirements, our ambassadors can then provide one- on- one remote mentoring in a safeguarded environment, delivered via technology such as Fitswarm and Playwaze to build a lasting legacy for individuals.

Atlantic City New Jersey, Wellbeing by the Ocean
Basking beside the Boardwalk, beachside and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean Atlantic City is historic yet contemporary, known as a casino resort with incredible dining and entertainment but there is so much more, especially for keeping up your fitness, health and wellbeing whilst enjoying the destination.
Getting there is easy from the UK. Fly into Philadelphia or New York (or from elsewhere in the USA directly into Atlantic City Airport) and combine an Atlantic City resort stay as part of a road trip including iconic cities and the history, countryside, shopping and dining of New York State, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or further afield to Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. This is the perfect fly-drive region of the USA.
Great spas and fitness facilities are available at the world class resort hotels in Atlantic City, but the wellness opportunities do not stop there.
The beach and Boardwalk are where it all started: pristine sand with healthy salt air. The water is safe thanks to a stringent State water quality programme. Swim, surf, sail or windsurf the Atlantic Ocean or get those legs moving and run, bike ride, powerwalk or simply stroll the four-mile Boardwalk, an icon since 1870. You will also find beach yoga to combine mindfulness with getting much needed vitamin D.
Golfers will be thrilled, with Atlantic City having been ranked among the Top Ten Golf Cities in America and if, as some say, you don’t want to ruin a good walk chasing a small white ball there is plenty more outdoors to keep focused on fitness. Sailing, canoe or kayak rental are available at nearby local, state and national parks including Atlantic County Park at Lake Lenape. Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and Bass River State Forest offer scenic views and incredible hiking trails for rustic keep fit.
