Designed to both empower women and celebrate multiculturalism within our cities, our first ever in person and online London based tours were created in partnership with Intrepid Travel, a B-Corp certified, international tour operator with operations world-wide.
The tours are run by women who have fled extraordinary circumstances. Our guides Ella, Sefanit and Kaoutar arrived in the UK from Albania, Ethiopia and Morocco, with little money, limited English and no connections. Now, with the help of Intrepid Urban Adventures and Women in Travel, they are working as tour guides, taking travellers into their communities and showing first-hand how traditions and cultures can transcend borders.
Whether you go for an Ethiopian coffee ceremony in Shephard Bush, a taste and flavours of the Balkans on the South bank or Moroccan tea and sweets, you will be experiencing the city in new and original ways…and most importantly you will help change women’s lives for the better!
