We are the charity that gets people walking again in sub-Saharan Africa. Our main aim is to give amputees the chance to live independently, through the provision of prosthetic legs along with affordable physical and emotional rehabilitation.

Prosthetic legs destined for landfill are collected from individuals and hospitals across the UK, Canada, France and Australia. The legs are then dismantled, each part is safety checked, and the components are shipped to partner mobility centres across Africa where they become limbs for people that otherwise may never walk again. Since 2014 we have sent enough parts to build or repair over 9,000 legs. As well as recycling legs, we also work to improve services and provide opportunities for amputees to build community and boost their knowledge.
