Ireland – The Irish Wildlife Trust

Volunteers’ time, expertise, enthusiasm, and knowledge are central to the IWT’s conservation efforts. There are many different ways volunteers can help.

The Irish Wildlife Trust ( IWT ) aims to conserve wildlife and the habitats they depend on throughout Ireland while encouraging a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural world and the need to protect it. The Irish Wildlife Trust was founded in 1979 as a non-governmental organisation and charity (Charity no: CHY 6264).

The Irish Wildlife Trust works to create a better future for Ireland’s biodiversity by motivating and supporting people to take action to protect biodiversity. The charity achieves this through wildlife walks and talks, citizen science projects, community & school education, practical conservation activities, and biodiversity campaigning and advocacy.

Charitable Travel will help you plan and book your next holiday to Ireland, and can tailor your trip to allow time for you to get involved in this project, which you will need to arrange directly via the link below.
