About Tiggywinkles
Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital is dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife. Tiggywinkles is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to take in any wild animal in need. The hospital is the busiest in the World, helping over 12,000 poorly animals every year.
All wild animal casualties brought to the hospital are treated completely free of charge and are offered ground-breaking, specialist veterinary treatment.
In addition to caring for a minimum of 1,200 patients every day, Tiggywinkles offers help and advice to veterinary units, rehabilitators and the general public worldwide.
Why Tiggywinkles needs your help
Tiggywinkles survives on a solid base of membership and relies on donations from the general public and sponsors to thrive. It receives no government funding of any kind and no financial assistance from other animal welfare or conservation groups.
At Tiggywinkles, no animal is ever needlessly put to sleep. Any animal that cannot be released back to the wild is offered sanctuary on the Hospital grounds in safe, near natural conditions. To maintain and provide ongoing care for these animals comes at great cost and is only made possible by way of kind donations from people like you.
