USA, Connecticut – The Connecticut River Conservancy

Volunteers can get involved with research, such as counting fish and taking samples, clean up, planting trees, and weeding invasive plant life.

Since 1952, the Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC) has been a powerful force for positive environmental change in New England. Connecticut River Conservancy is the voice for the Connecticut River watershed, from source to sea. They collaborate with partners across four states to protect and advocate for rivers and educate and engage communities. CRC bring people together to prevent pollution, improve habitat, and promote enjoyment of The Connecticut River and its tributary streams. Healthy rivers support healthy economies.

Charitable Travel will help you plan and book your next holiday to New England, and can tailor your trip to allow time for you to get involved in this project, which you will need to arrange directly via the link below.
